Black and Blue

Jacket- Topman. Vest- Topshop. Skirt- Blackmillk. Bag- Zara, Necklace. Urban Outfitters. Shoes- Topshop.
Hey guys!

Its been a little while since I've blogged my Black Milk Cathedral skirt but as soon as I picked up this Topman Denim jacket last week I knew they'd go perfectly. I love to pair dressier items with more casual ones, I like a good balance!

Im still as in love with this skirt as the day I first got it, I was sold out for ages on the Black Milk website and I had loads of people offering to buy it from me but fortunately Black Milk now have it back in stock so hurry hurry if your dont want to miss out again!!

I have the races coming up this weekend in Melbourne which should be a really good day, I did a bit of a last minute/unorganised ASOS order last night so fingers and toes crossed it comes in time! I will try and get some photos for you guys before I go too!

I also wanted to point you in the direction of a really good Scottish band that have just released their début single, If you like a bit of dance/electro you definitely need to check them out! You can have a listen here. They have some other really good songs too!

Hope youve all been having a good week so far :)

Camo Jacket

Jacket- ASOS. T-shirt- Cheap Monday . Shorts- Cotton On. Belt- Vintage. Shoes- Topshop
Hello!

I hope everyone's been having a good weekend. I needed to show you guys this Camo Jacket I got from ASOS last week, Ive been wearing it so much lately. I love wearing it with all white or all black to keep the look clean cut and not over complicated.

Ive heard its snowing back in Scotland so I almost feel bad putting this summery look up...  but Ive done it anyway- sorreeee ! I'm loving Cheap Monday at the moment, their collection is so good- especially the shoes.

Im sitting out on the balcony just now listening to some 90s pop and soaking up the sun before heading to the Gay Parade on Fed Square this afternoon. I'm worried that the urge and temptation to join in will be too much.. wish me luck.

Happy Sunday everyone!!

Sass & Bide Drapes

Dress- Sass&Bide. Necklace- Urban Outfitters. Belt- Topshop. Bag- Vintage. Boots- Topshop. Watcch Urban Outfitters.
I picked up this Sass & Bide t-shirt dress on a little shopping trip last week with some friends in Melbourne. Those of you that have followed my blog for a while know that im a sucker for a bit of draping! I love how they can completely  transform what could have been an average t-shirt dress into something a lot more elegant.

I've belted it to give a bit more shape and worn it with a vintage tassled bag and my faithful studded boots! I bet you guys are getting sick of these boots already but I cant help wearing them! They just make everything look so much better.

I couldnt find links to every item i'm wearing so have added some similar items in the scroll bar below :)

Whisky and Rye

Top- Topshop. Shorts- Levis. Shoes- Topshop. Bag-Zara

Helloo... I Hope everyone has had a good weekend! This is what I wore today for some Sunday moooching, we went to a place called the Branch for a couple of Sunday afternoon beers and some live music.

Its so strange that as soon as it starts to get summery in Melbourne that its getting cold in the UK. Im going to have to try and adapt some of my outfit choices to inspire you lot!!

One of my biggest guilty pleasures is coffee and I have to say, Melbourne has some of the best coffee houses in the world! I reckon Ive only had one bad coffee the whole time I've been here. Hope you've all had a good weekend too!

New things

Bag- ASOS. Shoes- ASOS. Necklace- Diva. Shirt-Thrifted. Nail varnish
Hi Everyone,

Here are a few little bits and pieces Ive added to my wardrobe over the last week. I absolutely love this rucksack from ASOS, I know I say this every time but its another new favourite! This necklace is also another staple for me at the moment, its great for dressing up simple slips or vests and adding a bit more character to an outfit.

After being in Australia for three months, I can safely say we have it good with regards to high street shopping in the UK. Don't get me wrong fashion in Melbourne is amazing but you definitely have to pay if you want quality, their high street stuff just isn't up to the standards that we have back home- its all about investment pieces over here.

I have a couple of events coming up where I'm going to need to source some sort of formal/summer attire which will be interesting! I also have a plum coloured fur jacket on the brain- which coming into summer in Melbourne seems highly impractical- but when has that ever stopped me before?!
